Acclaimed landscape artist J. Allison Robichaud will showcase a dazzling array of plein air paintings at Yorkville's Scollard Street Gallery beginning this weekend.

Robichaud, an elected member of the Institute of Figurative Arts, has been featured at some of Canada's highest-profile exhibits and shows. Known for his ethereal and atmospheric style, the 77-year-old New Brunswick-born artist was named one of International Artist magazine's Master Painters of the World in 2004.

Robichaud's upcoming exhibit, titled A Painter's Love of the Landscape, will open with a special reception at the Scollard Street Gallery, 112 Scollard Street, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. The exhibit will run through Saturday, Nov. 29.
