Downsview Park will light up Nov. 28 to Dec. 31 for the Trail of Lights holiday show.
The two-kilometre route at the Sheppard Avenue and Keele Street park will include 407 lighted displays, 13 walk-through theme arches, 16 lighted theme areas and a 13-metre walk-through lit Holiday Tree. Altogether, the show will be made up of 150,000 LED lights.
"This is the first time we've done this," said Tony Genco, president and CEO of Downsview Park. "It's a great opportunity to celebrate the land in the winter time. The event will hopefully showcase not only the site but also the season."
Along with the light show, the event will also include free photos with Santa in the Holiday Village, wagon rides and live entertainment.
"Our hope is that this will be a regular event in November and December," Genco said. "It's a time to celebrate Christmas. We hope Torontonians and the people of Downsview will enjoy this event."
Admission Friday, Saturday and holidays costs $12. Admission Sunday to Thursday costs $10. For tickets or more information, call 416-952-2222.
